oldenera.gg is an independent, fan-made project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Ubisoft Entertainment, Hooded Horse, Unfrozen, or any of their subsidiaries or partners.

Heroes of Might & Magic, Might & Magic, Olden Era, and all related names, logos, characters, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Any such trademarks are used for descriptive and identification purposes only under nominative fair use. All rights in the game and its assets remain with their respective owners.

If you are a rights holder and believe content on the Site infringes your rights, contact us at contact@oldenera.gg and we will respond promptly.

2. The service

The Site provides community-oriented competitive statistics for the game Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era, including ladder rankings, player profiles, match history, metagame trends, and related data (collectively, the "Content").

The Content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. We are a hobby/community project operated by an individual and provide the Site on a best-effort basis.

3. No warranty / accuracy of data

The Site and all Content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that rankings, ratings, win rates, or any statistics are accurate, current, or error-free. Data may be delayed, incomplete, incorrect, or unavailable. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-download Content from the Site by any automated means (bots, scrapers, spiders, scripts) without our prior written permission;
• Use the Site's data to build, train, or populate a competing or derivative service, dataset, or database;
• Access the Site through any automated system in a manner that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce in the same period, or that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, its servers, APIs, databases, or related systems;
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site, or breach or circumvent any security, rate-limiting, or authentication measures;
• Attempt to access data, files, or endpoints not intended to be publicly available;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Site except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site or its servers (including via denial-of-service attacks);
• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or commercially exploit the Content without our permission;
• Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices;
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

We reserve the right to block, rate-limit, or ban any user, IP address, or automated agent that violates this section, at our sole discretion and without notice.

5. Intellectual property in the Site

Excluding third-party trademarks and game assets (which belong to their owners, see Section 1), the Site's original elements — including its design, layout, code, aggregated statistics, rating computations, and compiled data — are owned by the operator of oldenera.gg and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to access and view the Content for personal, non-commercial use only.

6. Player names and user-associated content

Player names and profiles displayed on the Site originate from in-game data and are shown for competitive-statistics purposes. We do not create these names and are not responsible for their content. If you are a player and wish to request removal or correction of your profile, contact us at contact@oldenera.gg and we will consider reasonable requests, subject to any applicable legal obligations.

7. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Accessing them is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will the operator of oldenera.gg be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Site or its Content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of oldenera.gg from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, for any reason, without notice, including for violation of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Site operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction where the Site operator resides, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
