Olden Era Meta Pulse — Oct 3: Hive, Necropolis Top Faction Win Rates

The game has recorded both players' factions since the 30 September reset, and the faction stats run against the crowd: Temple is the most-picked faction in Classic and second in Single Hero, yet wins 45% and 41% of its games there, while the best records belong to Hive in Classic (68%) and Necropolis in Single Hero (64%). On the ladders, the Oct 3, 10:19 UTC snapshot has new leaders in Classic, PINOKEW, and Single Hero, FEEDER.

Across 570 Classic games, Hive is the outlier. It is only fifth in picks, at 12.4%, but stands at 96-45 for a 68% win rate, and it leads every matchup it has played 10 or more times: 33-11 against Temple, 25-14 against Necropolis, 24-14 against Dungeon and 8-3 against Grove. On Jebus Cross, the most-played map, Hive is 76-31 (71%).

Temple is the most-picked faction at 25.5% of picks but sits at 130-161 (45%), and on Jebus Tournament it is 20-32. Dungeon has the edge in the most-played matchup, 60-45 over Temple across 105 games. Schism is the rarest pick at 5.1%, with a 21-37 record (36%).

Single Hero has the larger sample, 2,306 games, and its standout is Necropolis: fifth in picks at 10.8%, yet 316-180 (64%), with a winning record against all five other factions, including 92-35 against Temple (72%) and 100-59 against Dungeon. On Exodus, the most-played map, Necropolis is 238-116 (67%).

Temple is second in picks at 21.3% but 402-581 (41%), and 19-46 (29%) on Outcast Tournament. Dungeon, the most-picked faction at 25.2%, is level at 581-582, and Schism is 379-295 (56%), including 38-20 on Sprint. More on the Classic factions and Single Hero factions pages.

Classic

PINOKEW moved #2 → #1 and leads on 1,793, unbeaten at 14-0; that current win streak of 14 is the longest in the Classic stats, with NISTON next on 8. PODPIVKOVICH slipped #1 → #2 (▼1) on 1,766 at 15-2. BANGOFFF and SSCAISS swapped places, BANGOFFF up to #3 on 1,740 and SSCAISS down to #4 on 1,716.

The biggest jump in the top 25 belongs to СВИНИДЛА, #136 → #20 (▲116). NIKITI4 went #100 → #19 (▲81), GODLIKE #94 → #15 (▲79) and FILCH #86 → #12 (▲74). Nearer the top, THE WILL OF THE WISPS climbed #37 → #7 (▲30) on a 5-0 start. The steepest falls inside the top 25 are a tie: SKEPTIC28 #15 → #24 and ANDVIKS #16 → #25, both ▼9. SOLISORA holds #1 with no rank move, on 1,910 at 27-5. Behind SOLISORA the board reshuffled: HD1O1 rose #13 → #2 (▲11) on 1,838, 鬼畜大法师 #9 → #3 (▲6) on 1,810, and ELEPHANT #14 → #4 (▲10) at 13-0. FOKYSNIK dropped #2 → #7 (▼5) and LDXHEISI #3 → #16 (▼13).

New faces reach the Arena top 25: КЛЮВОЖОР at #8 and BROGAR at #11, with PUSZ at #17 and LEADEROFMEN at #18.

ELEPHANT carries the longest current win streak in the Arena stats at 12. BROGAR, PUSZ and DAIMONSBET TWITCHTV are tied next on 11.

The Arena movers board is led by 猎影种风, up 166 places from #188 to #22 with a rating change of 330. БОЛЬ gained 84 places, #111 to #27, on 227 rating points. The steepest fall is BIGM, #89 to #191, and VOID went #20 to #94.

The longest current win streak in the Single Hero stats is a three-way tie on 13 between L, R33VS and 凯瑟瑞. L also made the second-biggest climb in the mode, #178 to #7 (171 places) with a rating change of 307. ROFLER made the biggest, 174 places from #192 to #18, and GHOSTICA went #70 → #11 (▲59) at 12-0. KORNYSHON fell furthest, #36 to #165 (Single Hero movers).
