Necropolis holds the highest win rate despite the second-lowest pick share. A Steam discussion opened by Facenapalm argues that ranked multiplayer needs a map ban system. The ladder shows how narrow the pools already are: Jebus Cross covers 72% of recorded Classic games, Exodus 68% of Single Hero games, and Arena is a single map.
Necropolis is also under discussion in the Early Access Necromancy Feedback thread. On the ladder, Necropolis is picked in 20.6% of Classic faction-recorded games at a 50% win rate, and in 10.1% of Single Hero ones at 58%.
