Though the denizens of Alvar emerged into the light, Daylight Magic remained beyond their grasp. Undeterred, they formed a cult devoted to the Magical Sisters, believing their messenger, Eridore, could bestow divine power through sacred masks.
When the Triumvirate outlawed the cult, the masks endured. Serene Deira discovered hers could illuminate darkness, weakening some monsters. This earned her acceptance, but her sister, Keiri, rejected that path and embraced something far darker.
