Aleira was never one for obedience. Sent on a crusade by the Church, she spent more time playing cards than offering prayers. Her sharp tongue and reckless defiance led to punishment — she was locked away, given a knitting needle to perform “proper” handiwork.
She had other plans. The needle found a far better use in the neck of the overseeing nun, paving the way for her escape. And in that desperate flight, she heard the Chorus. It offered Leira an opportunity for vengeance — and a needle that could pierce anything.
